briloff-webEmanuel Saxe Distinguished Professor of Accountancy Emeritus Abe Briloff (MSEd ’41) was named to the Journal of Accountancy’s list of 125 people who have made a significant impact on the profession since 1887. This was in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which was founded in that year.

fonerHenry Foner authored Songs and Poems: For Better or Verse (www.laborarts.org), a collection of 75 years of his irreverent, unexpected songs and poems. Foner is best known as a 1930s-era student activist and an organizer and labor leader. Today he is co-historian at laborarts.org and an editorial board member of Jewish Currents magazine.
